Stephen Ray "Rusty" Brandenburg, 60, Denison, died Sat., Dec. 22, 2007, at his home. He was born May 9, 1947, in Topeka.
He had served in the U.S. Army's 130th Artillary. Steve was retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.'s Topeka plant.
Steve was married to Jackie Martin on Aug. 4, 1967, in Topeka.
Surviving are his wife: Jackie Brandenburg of the home; 2 sons: Stephen "Matt" Brandenburg of Topeka and Eric (Mary Kai) Brandenburg of Coffeyville; 2 grandchildren: Alexander and Grayson; and 3 half sisters.
Funeral services were at 10:00 a.m., Mon., Dec. 31, 2007 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel. Philip Billard Post # 1650, V.F.W. conducted military graveside honors at Rochester Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Society of the Fifth Division, 12 Rossie Street, Mystic, CT 06355.
