OBITUARY: Sonja S. Eisenhut
Sonja S. Eisenhut, 57, Topeka, died Tues., Nov. 1, 2011, at her home. She was born July 28, 1954, in Topeka, the daughter of Edward R. and Jean L. (Shearer) Bumgarner. Sonja was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She was married to Ron C. Eisenhut on June 30, 1973, in Topeka. Surviving are her husband: Ron C. Eisenhut of the home; a daughter: Christa Dawn Hollingsworth and her husband, Bryon, of Topeka; a son: Michael Adam Eisenhut of Topeka; 5 grandchildren: David, Blake, Emily, Nathan, and Kyle; her mother: Jean L. Bumgarner of Topeka; 2 brothers: Jerry Bumgarner and Jim Bumgarner both of Topeka; and 1 sister: Sheila Hicks of Carbondale. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Fri., Nov. 4, 2011, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave., Topeka. Interment in West Lawn Memorial Gardens. Sonja will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Thurs., at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 PM.
