Shirley Eddleman
Shirley A. Eddleman, 71, Topeka, died Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2002, at her home.
She was born Oct. 18, 1931, in Denver, the daughter of Charles Virgil and Nina Dora Gallagher Kasson. She was a lifelong Topeka resident.
Mrs. Eddleman was a member of Women of the Moose Lodge No. 1091 and the Ladies Auxiliary to Capitol Post No. 1 of the American Legion.
She married Fred W. Eddleman on Dec. 19, 1952, in Topeka. He died on June 5, 1994.
Survivors include a daughter, Melody Oxy, Topeka; a sister, Lucille Boline, Topeka; a brother, Wayne Kasson, Topeka; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services at 1 p.m. Monday at Parker-Price Mortuary Chapel will be followed by a Women of the Moose ceremony. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Eddleman will lie in state at the mortuary after noon Sunday, where visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m.
