Sharon Sue May, 72, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013.

She was born July 22, 1941 in Topeka, the daughter of Albert Leonard and Rosa Fay (Ginter) Cline.

She was an active member of Victory City Church in Topeka.

She enjoyed quilting and was an avid KU fan.

Sharon married William Eden Tranmer. He preceded her in death. Survivors include five children, William Tranmer, Topeka, Robin (James) Marcum, Chandler, AZ, Robert (Shannon) Tranmer, Springfield, MO, Mark Lee May, Topeka and Crystal Alfrey, Topeka; several grandchildren; and a brother, Harry Albert Cline, Topeka.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant son, James Edward Tranmer.

The family will gather at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 12:15 p.m. to go in procession to the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Topeka for a graveside service at 1 p.m. Sharon will lie in state after 3 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Victory City Church, 2622 SE 6th St., Topeka, Kansas 66607.
