Sharon Kay Shaw, 70, of Topeka, passed away Monday, August 13, 2012.
She was born February 12, 1942 in Valley Falls, KS, the daughter of Byron and Bertha (Dennis) Brown.
She was employed by American Bindery over 20 years and retired from Adams Business Forms in 2002.
Sharon married Jerry E. Shaw on December 8, 1964 in Topeka. He survives of the home. Other survivors include a son, Craig A. (Heather) Shaw; a daughter, Betty J. (Jeff Treiber) North; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Larry Brown, Dennis (Becky) Brown and Byron (Loretta) Brown; and two sisters, Mary (Raymond) Willett and Martha (Lyle) Pence.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, Laura A. Shaw, Debbie S. Senne, a brother, Raymond "Dick" Brown and a sister, Georgia Shaw.
Honoring her request, cremation has taken place. Sharon's family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m., Thursday August 16, 2012 at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka, KS 66608. Private inurnment will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Sharon Shaw Memorial Fund, sent in care of Silver Lake Bank, P.O. Box 8330, Topeka, KS 66608.
