Scarlett S. Gill, 63, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2011.
She was born July 17, 1948, in Hot Springs, AK the daughter of Imogene (Harvey) Knapp.
Mrs. Gill was a graduate of Circle High School in Towanda, in 1966. Scarlett also graduated with a degree in accounting from Washburn University in 1990, with the honor of magna cum laude.
Scarlett was employed by Westar Energy for 25 years.
Scarlett married Dan W. Gill on August 1, 1979, in Topeka, He survives. Other survivors include a stepson, Dan W. Gill; her mother, Imogene Knapp; a sister, Glenda (Tim) Riggle; a brother, Shannon "Bill" Harvey.
Memorial services will be at 6:00 p.m., Monday, December 12, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave., Topeka, KS 66608. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606.
