Sara Jane Beckwith

Sara Jane Beckwith, 64, of Topeka, passed away on August 22, 2022 at Stormont Vail Hospital.

She was born on September 27, 1957 to Vesper and Bernice (Danner) Blanchett in Lawrence, KS.

She attended Topeka High School and started her own daycare early in life.

Sara married Gary Johnson. He preceded her in death. She later married Danny Beckwith. He also preceded her in death.

Sara was a member of Victory City Church. She was a care taker her whole life. Sara loved each and every child she took care of and gave each of them a piece of her heart. Her family was her reason to live and she will be missed by all.

Sara is survived by her loving children, Wade (Chelsie) Johnson and Leslie (Mike) Sutton; siblings, Mary Fuller, Kay Bundy, Linda Kahn, Demona Bradley and Robert Blanchett; 12 grandchildren, Breanna Bennett, Wade Johnson, II, Emilynn Shoptese, Bret Bennett, Warren Johnson, Kena Lopez, Tory Johnson, Cale Ketter, Ally Harding, Haedyn Harding, Eli Harding, and Jayden Bell.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents; infant sons, Troy Johnson and Shane Clark; and her brother, Richard Blanchett.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 26, 2022 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Funeral Service will follow starting at 12:00 pm. Graveside will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Victory City Church in Sara's name.
