Samantha Josephine "Josi" Mcgoyne

Samantha Josephine “Josi” McGoyne, age 21, of Overbrook, KS, left this world to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 after a brief struggle with pancreatitis. Josi was born January 14, 1998 in Lawrence, KS the daughter of Phillip and Vicki (Cloud) McGoyne. She graduated from Santa Fe Trail High School in 2016 and earned her CNA license. Her specialty was working with memory impaired and dementia patients. Her sweet, loving personality made that a perfect fit and she touched people's hearts wherever she went. Josi leaves behind her son, Jaxon; her fiancé, Eli McCormick of Overbrook; father, Phillip McGoyne of Carbondale; mother, Vicki Cloud of Overbrook; sisters, Jessica McAteer of Tulsa, OK and Kristina Rendon of Sapulpa, OK; brother, Antonio Rendon of Sperry, OK; her grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Overbrook Bible Church in the Fellowship Hall with Pastor Kevin Stone officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
