Steven"Lyle" Snook, 60, Topeka, died Sunday, April 24, 2016, at his home. He was born November 4, 1955, in Topeka, the son of Frank Leroy and Elsie Eugenia "Jean" (Durner) Snook.
Lyle attended Ottawa High School. He owned and operated S & S Window Cleaning. He loved to read, fish, hunt, and play billards.
Lyle was married to Janet Jean "Missie" (Grey) Sharples on March 22, 1996, in Topeka. She preceded him in death on March 28, 2015.
Surviving are five children: Joe Snook of Kansas City, MO, Thomas Sharples (Kajsa) of Concordia, Sandy Snook of Kansas City, MO, Melissa Sharples of Topeka, and Marriah Snook of Topeka; siblings: Gail Constance of Marksville, LA, Neil Snook of Ottawa, and Carol Meinhardt of Topeka; and two grandchildren: Karma Sharples of Topeka and Parker Sharples of Concordia.
Memorial services will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, May 2, 2016, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Avenue, Topeka. Private interment of cremains will be in Rochester Cemetery, 1200 NW Menninger Road, Topeka.
