Ruth M. Kilts, 87, of Topeka, passed away, Friday, Feb. 8, 2008 at her home.
She was born July 31, 1920 in Udall, KS the daughter of Sidney and Gladys Helmick Royse.
Ruth married Clarence B. Kilts July 3, 1936 in El Dorado, KS. He preceded her in death Sept. 6, 1994. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Roxie C. Kelly. Survivors include, four sons, Bill (Phyllis), Jim (Nadine), Dan (Sharon), and Troy (Ann) Kilts; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren: and one sister, Wanda (Fred) Pride.
Ruth will lie in state from 12:00 noon until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, at the Penwell-Gabel Parker Price Chapel. Family visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home followed by a graveside service at 1:30 p.m. at the Rochester Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association.
