Russell Shane Blevins

Russell Shane Blevins, 35, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023.

He was born March 30, 1988, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Debra Blevins.

He received his GED.

Russell was wheelchair bound. However this did not change his optimistic outlook towards life. He was constantly on the go and often used his wheelchair to perform tricks and showboat.

Russell enjoyed tinkering with everything mechanical or electronic. He was very creative and excellent at drawing.
Russell was well versed in wheeling and dealing in his hobbies and business ventures.

Survivors include his Spouse, Betsy R. Blevins, Mother, Debra Blevins, Grandmother, Janice Blevins, Uncles, David Blevins and Rex Blevins, Aunt, Brenda Blevins, Sister, Heather Roberts, Brother, Lyle Beaty, Daughter, Arianna Hutchinson, Nieces, Mackenzie Harris and Lola Beaty, Nephews, Kieran Beaty and Korbin Roberts, as well as several cousins. He was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Delbert Blevins, his Uncle Eddie Booth, his Aunt, Margaret Wiltrout and his Great Grandmother, Doris Buchanan.

Cremation is planned. A Celebration of Life will be determined at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the organization of the donor's choice.

Russell's favorite saying is "I'm gonna ride it 'til the wheelz fall off!"
