Rose Engel

Rose Ann Engel, 85, Topeka died Sunday, Aug. 15, 2004 at her home.
Rose was born November 9, 1918 in Wherum, PA the daughter of Phillip and Mary Skida Yendzik.
She married Ralph W. Engel November 13, 1943 in Baltimore, Maryland, he died July 29, 1997.
She is also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers John and Steve Yendzik, two sisters, Kay Bisko and Julia Smuro.
Survivors include two sons; Michael Vernon Engel and wife Judy of Hays, KS, Phillip Jay Engel of Topeka, KS, sister Mary Toomey and Tom of Trumbull, CT. and three grandchildren Rebecca, Paul and Lori Engel, and many nieces and nephews
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 20, 2004 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Gardens.
A rosary will be begin at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, August 19, 2004 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel in North Topeka, where the family will receive friends until 8:00 p.m.
