Rosalie Pearl Smith

Rosalie "Rose" Pearl Smith, 85, of Berryton, passed away on July 17, 2022 at Oak Creek Senior Living.
She was born on May 15, 1937 to David and Gladys (Perkypile) Coffman in Topeka, Kansas.
Rose was a homemaker her entire life, providing for her family and taking care of her children. Later in life she worked at Jostens from 1981-1990 before retiring.
On July 8, 1955, she married Robert Smith in Colorado. Together they had 6 amazing children.
She loved sports. Rose played fast pitch softball and volleyball in her younger years and also was an avid bowler. Later in life she played slow pitch softball and co rec volleyball. She was always involved in sports her entire life. When her children and family grew up, together they would be on the same women's softball team. Everyone will remember her for the love of the game.
Rose is survived by her children, David (Christine) Smith, Dana (Tim) Manson, Della (Kevin) Crable, and Donald (Traci) Smith; siblings, Virgil Coffman, Esther Toburen, and Loretta McPherson; many nieces and nephews; 16 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; both of her parents; children, Debbie Dennis and Darla Smith; and her brother, Donald Coffman.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 21, 2022, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Parker-Price Funeral Home in Topeka, Kansas.
Memorial service will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022, 11:00 am at the Hoyt First Baptist Church, 109 Highland, Hoyt, Kansas. Inurnment will take place at Larkenburg Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, 2200 Southwest Gage Boulevard Topeka, Kansas, 66604.
