Ronald Waymire, Sr.
Ronald "Sam" Waymire, Sr., a great Man, loving Husband, the best Dad, a wonderful Grandpa and a true Friend, passed away September 8, 2006 at the age of 68. He will be greatly missed but not forgotten.
Ron was born July 31, 1938 in Dayton, Ohio. Ron married the love of his life, Joy Sipes, 48 years ago on September 21, 1958. He is survived by his wife, Joy; two sons, Ron Jr. and Troy; a daughter, Zoe Bock; seven grandchildren and 8 siblings. Ron retired from Goodyeart after 29years of service. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 400.
Ron's body was donated to the Willed Body Program at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 14, 2006 at Jefferson Assembly of God, 8640 Clark Rd, Meriden, KS. Arrangements are with Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel.
