MSgt Ronald L. Martin, USMC Retired
MSgt Martin passed away on January 22, 2015, at Brewster Place Retirement Center after years of coping with cancer and dementia. Ronald was born in Rochester, New York to Howard and Marie Martin on March 7, 1931. A younger sister preceded him in death.
At age 16 he met Beverly Eisenhauer in high school. They spent the next 64 years in marriage. Beverly survives, as well as two sons, Chris Martin, Wife Gail and daughter Holly of San Diego, and Craig Martin of Lawrence, Kansas. A third son, Casey, died at age 5 months and is buried in the Philippines.
Ron loved and lived for his Lord and Savior, his family, and the Marine Corps. He will be buried in Leavenworth National Cemetery where Beverly will join him when God so ordains. Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel is assisting in all phases of the military service which will be for family and close friends only due to the distance from Topeka.
