Ronald Louis Hague
Ronald Louis Hague, 69, of Topeka, died Monday, Aug. 30, 2004, at his residence. He was born Jan. 13, 1935, in Byesville, Ohio, to Thomas M. and Bertha Elizabeth Harriett Hague. Ron graduated from New Concord High School in Ohio. He was a member of the Marines and the Air Force, serving in Korea and Vietnam before retiring as Master Sgt. He worked at John Lamb Chevrolet in Winter Garden, Fla.; Don Mealey Chevrolet in Orlando, Fla.; and Ed Bozarth Chevrolet and Laird Noller Ford, both in Topeka. He was a member of Western Hills Baptist Church. He married Carol L. Bergen Seematter on June 15, 1991, in Apopka, Fla. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Terry West, Apopka, Fla., and Sandra Sloan, Apopka, Fla.; a son, David Hague, Apopka, Fla.; two stepsons, Delmar Seematter and Roger Seematter, both of Marysville; three sisters, Harriett McMahan, Doris Farrar, and Mary Louise Elliott, all of New Concord, Ohio; a brother Ivan Hague, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Grace Sony and Katherine Hunt. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Western Hills Baptist Church. Services will be followed by military honors from Whitman Air Force Base Honor Guard. Interment of cremains will be private. Ronald Louis Hague will lie in state at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 N.W. Independence, after 3 p.m. Wednesday, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m Wednesday.
