Ronald Dean Haid, 65, of Topeka, died Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at St. Francis Health Center Emergency Room. He was born November 29, 1939 in Topeka, KS, the son of John Wesley and Emily Martha Fields Haid.
Ronald worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for over 30 years. He was a member of Rubber Workers Local #307.
He married JoEllen French on November 13, 1965 in Topeka, Kansas. She survives.
Other survivors include: three sons, Richard Haid, Robbie Haid, and Kevin Haid, all of Topeka, a daughter Lorrie Streeter, Topeka; five brothers, Delbert Haid, John Haid, Jr., Clyde Haid, Topeka; Glenn Haid, Meriden, Elton Haid, Lawrence; three sisters, Donna Moore, Elsie Kopp, Topeka; Edna DeMotte, Bonner Springs; and three grandchildren.
A funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2005 at Topeka Church Of The Brethren. Interment will be in Meriden Cemetery.
Mr. Haid will lie in state after 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 30, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel in North Topeka where the family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
