Ronald F. Burress

Ronald Burress of Topeka, passed away at his home with his wife by his side on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. He was 82 years old.

Ronald was born on May 6, 1939 to Merrill and Gladys (Hawk) Burress in Grove, KS.

He and with wife, Susanne, were married for 60 years.

Ronald was employed at the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 45 years. He was also the sole proprietor of Burress Excavating Company for 20 years.

Ronald had a tool for any job or task and spent his retirement "tinkering" with old machinery and tractors. He had a huge heart and would help anyone in need.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Susanne; Children, Sondra (Scott) Lee Moore and Justina (Phil) Dee Wages; Brother, Duane (Sharon) W. Burress; Grandchildren, Elizabeth, Emily, Lauren M. Wages, and Mason J. Wages; Nieces and Nephews, Lori A. Bradley, Bill (Tamara) D. Burress, and Dawn (Mike) M. Shepard.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents

Visitation will be held Monday, November 1, 2021, 9:30 am at Parker-Price Funeral Home followed by Funeral service, starting at 10:00 am. Graveside Service will follow at the Walnut Hill Cemetery, in Grove, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas Masonic Foundation or the American Diabetes Association.
