Ron Hartzell, 64, Tecumseh, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018.
He was born February 28, 1954, in California, the son of Allen and Bonnie (Morgan) Hartzell.
Ron was a machine operator at J.M. Smucker Pet Foods for 16 years.
He was a member of the Highland Heights Christian Church.
On June 21, 1986, he married Dona Griffiths in Topeka, KS. She survives. Other survivors include three children: Denise Hayes (Jason Wyre); Shawn Hartzell and Derek Hayes (Linda); one brother: Ken Hartzell; four grandchildren: Kelsi Cumpton, Jasmine Colbert, Dawson Wyre and Ryley Hayes and one great-grandchild: Grace Moss.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Nathan Hartzell.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Parker-Price Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 245 N.W. Independence Avenue, Topeka. Visitation will be held Wednesday at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
