Ron Funk

Ron Funk, 70, of Topeka took his final ride peacefully on Friday, October 5, 2018 surrounded by his family. Ron was born December 15, 1947 at Fort Scott, Kansas the son of John and Helen Leatherman Funk.   Ron was a motorcycle enthusiast.

He is survived by his wife Shelly Funk of Topeka; children, John A. "Speedy" Funk and wife Connie, Shane D. Funk and wife Samantha, Brandon A. Johnson, Danielle L. "Baby Girl" Odom and husband Josh; grandchildren, Donnie, Robert, Zach, Tanisha, Madelyn, Shaeleigh, Scarlett, Marissa, Jasper, Alexus “Junior” and Adam; one great-grandchild on the way; sisters, Johna Hanson of Atlanta and Ronda Funk of Dallas.

Ron was preceded by his parents, John and Helen

Cremation is planned. The family will receive friends from 3-4 pm on Friday, October 12 ^th at Davidson Funeral Home.   A memorial service will follow at 4:00 pm.   Memorial contributions may be sent to Midland Hospice.
