Robyn Ray Anderson, 53, Topeka, died Friday, October 27, 2017, at Stormont-Vail Hospital. He was born September 21, 1964, in Lawrence, the son of Norman Ray and Dorothy Jane "Dottie" (Foster) Anderson.
Robyn graduated from Washington High School, Kansas City, KS, in 1985. He worked at Argosy Casino, Woodlands Dog Track, and Wal-Mart. He was a good-hearted soul and a die-hard KU and Chiefs fan. One of his joys in life was spending time with his younger cousins and they loved him.
Surviving are his father: Norman Ray Anderson of Kansas City, KS; a brother: Brian Donald Anderson (Marsha) of Killeen, TX; a niece: Samantha Anderson of Killeen, TX; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Interment of cremains will be at 10:00 AM, Thursday, November 2, 2017, at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, 3616 SW Sixth Avenue, Topeka.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 PM, Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Avenue, Topeka. Friends please wear your favorite Chiefs or KU apparel, in honor of Robyn's love of sports.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606-2800.
