Robert William Trendel

January 17, 1932 — March 15, 2018

Robert “Bob” William Trendel, 86, of Topeka, formerly of Wichita, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018. He was born January 17, 1932 in Quenemo, Kansas the son of William Clifford Trendel and Dorothy O. (Tyner) Trendel. He graduated from Washburn Rural High School in 1950. Bob later served his country in the United States Air Force from 1951 until 1955, his overseas station was at Fairbanks, Alaska. Bob was a sales person for a variety of companies during his career.

He was married to Evelyn Stuard on December 31, 1955 in Aledo, Texas. Evelyn preceded him in death on November 1, 2005. His daughter, Patricia Ann Smith also precedes him in death.

Bob is survived by a son William “Bill” Trendel and his wife Meg of Olathe, Kansas; his siblings, Wilma Marie DeWilde and Betty Jean Easterling both of Topeka; and four grandchildren, Thomas Joseph Trendel (Elise), James David Trendel, Amanda Jane Trendel and Jessica Ann Trendel all of Olathe.

A memorial service will be at Davidson Funeral Home on Friday March 23, 2018 at 10:00 am. Private family internment will be held at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Wichita.
