Robert "Bob" Harry Reeder, 91, of Topeka, passed away on February 21, 2022 at Aldersgate Village.
Bob was born on December 3, 1930 to William and Florence (Cochran) Reeder in Topeka, KS.
He graduated from Washburn University with both a A.B. and J.D. While an undergraduate he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity.
During the Korean War he served in the United States Army. After the service he did graduate work at the University of Kansas which led to the staff of the Research Department of the Kansas Legislature.
In 1960 he joined the faculty of Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois, where he taught for 32 years and was a co-author of two textbooks.
Bob is survived by his loving sister, Ermyl Broyles; his niece, Laura (Richard) Anderson; nephew-in-law, James Hunt; 6 grand nephews; 3 great grand nephews; and 2 great grand nieces.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents and his niece, Barbara Hunt.
Graveside Service will take place on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Silver Lake Cemetery.
