Robert Miller

Robert D. Lee Miller, 75, of Topeka, formerly of Wamego, passed away Monday, January 11, 2010. He was born November 12, 1934 in Cherryvale, KS, the son of Samuel A. and Gladys O. (Twyman) Miller. Robert married Jan Jones on November 16, 1963 in Alma, KS. She survives. Other survivors include his daughters, Teresa L. Miller, Granby, CT, Bobbi J. Miller-Valdes (Luis), and Kimberly D. Miller, both of Topeka; five grandchildren, Brett A. Keck, Jacob S. Bird, Katherine E. Keck, Dorian N. Miller, and Lucas P. Goss; three great-grandchildren, Kori A. Bird, Amara N. Bird and Brielle L. Ashford; and his sister, Shirley Brown, Kansas City, KS. He was preceded in death by a son, Jason Justin Lane Miller. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 PM on January 15, 2010 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka, KS 66608. Cremation will follow the visitation.
