Robert M. Henderson, 83, Topeka, died Friday, Oct. 1, 2004, in Topeka. He was born May 2, 1921, in Cimarron, the son of Charles Randolph and Eleanor Good Henderson. Mr. Henderson was a tire builder for Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. until retiring in 1982. He married Sylvesta Hazel Culver on March 1, 1942, in Howard. He was preceded in death by three sisters and his parents. Survivors are three sons, one daughter, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He also is survived by two brothers and five sisters. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Westlawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Henderson will lie in state after 3 p.m. Monday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Online condolences may be sent to www.penwellgabel.com
