OBITUARY: Robert "Keith" Stanwix
Robert "Keith" Stanwix born 12/10/1924, joined his parents, Ross and Ella Stanwix, and his wife, Ruby, in the family circle on 1/3/2012. Keith and Ruby had 3 sons: Jim, David, and Denny; and grandchildren: Matthew, Mark, Michael, Shasta, and Chelsea. In 1991, he married Bev Clark, adding to his family Dargal & Brenda Clark, and Merry Matthews; and grandchildren: Dustan and Ashley Clark; Dr. Deedra Clark, and Ruben Matthews; and great-granddaughter: Audrey Clark. A family who loved him and cared for him through all his illnesses and surgeries. Keith spent his life-time farming in Jefferson County and served 30 years on the Kaw Township Fire Department. Funeral services will be at 11:30 AM, Fri., Jan. 6, 2012, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave. Interment in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lawrence. Keith will lie in state at the funeral chapel after 3:00 PM, Thurs. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606-2800 or Kaw Township Fire Dept., 3877 South Street, Grantville, KS 66429.
