Robert Eugene Flott
Robert Eugene Flott, 67, Topeka, died July 5, 2003, at his home. He was born May 23, 1936, in Topeka, to Orren J. and Ruby Neeley Flott. Bob was a sheet metal worker for Santa Fe railroad for 17 years. He then worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Plant for 28 years as a pipe fitter. He also worked part time for Cross Ambulance. He was a member of Oakland United Methodist Church and a member of URW Local 307. He married Jeannette Reed on Feb. 1, 1954, in Lyndon. She survives. Bob is survived by a brother, James Flott, Topeka; four children, Roger Flott, Topeka, Jeannene England, Topeka, Rodney Flott, Topeka, Todd Flott, Charlotte, N.C.; seven grandchildren, Kandi Flott, Topeka, Brandi Flott, Topeka, Troy Flott, Topeka, Trever Flott, Charlotte, N.C., Tana Flott Charlotte, N.C., John Flott, Topeka, and Charles Flott, Topeka; two great-grandchildren, Kody Hill-Flott, Topeka, and Madisyn Krentz-Flott, Topeka. He is preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Kelsey Ann Hill, on Aug. 13, 1995. Funeral services will be at 1p.m., Wednesday at Parker-Price Mortuary. Committal services will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Mr. Flott will lie in state after 1p.m. Tuesday at Parker-Price Mortuary, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Robert E.
