Robert Lee Click

June 22, 1941 — January 4, 2021

Robert Lee Click, 79, Topeka, Kansas, completed his journey to heaven on Monday, January 4, 2021, surrounded by the family he supported, taught, inspired and deeply loved.

Bob was born June 22, 1941, in Weeksbury, Kentucky, the son of Elouise and Tennis P. (Young) Click. He worked as a bread truck driver and car salesman before moving to Topeka in 1965.

Following the move, Bob became a distinguished North Topeka businessman for nearly four decades, owning and operating the Click Club, ABC Exterminating, Click Motors, Our Father's Table Buffet and Grocery Supply. He also obtained his private pilot's license and enjoyed flying.

As successful as Bob was in business, he began his most passionate pursuit in 1984 when he gave his life to Jesus Christ and became one of the Lord's most devoted followers. Never shy about introducing friends or strangers to Christ, Bob was a longtime member of Northern Hills Baptist Church, where he served as both deacon and Sunday School teacher.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Patricia; a daughter, Tammy Click Nicely; two grandchildren, Robert Click III and Allison Click; and a great grandchild. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Pam Click, Topeka; five children: Bob Click, Jr., Buffalo Creek, West Virginia; Cindy Varney (Mike), Lavalette, West Virginia; Julie Kester (Dewayne), Douglass, Kansas; Lisa Bisel (Tim), Topeka; and Chris Martin (Jill), Topeka; 18 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

Bob will lie in state on Thursday, January 7 from noon to 8:00 p.m. at Davidson Funeral Home, 1035 North Kansas Avenue, Topeka. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday.

Bob's life will be celebrated during a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 8, 2021 at Northern Hills Baptist Church, 920 N.W. 62nd St., Topeka. Memorial contributions may be made to Interim Healthcare Home Care and Hospice and left in care of the Davidson Funeral Home.  davidsonfuneral.com
