Rita Williams, 76, of Topeka, passed away Friday, August 18, 2017.
She was born August 27, 1941 in Topeka, the daughter of Lorenzo and Sarafina (Juarez) Blanco. She was a graduate of Topeka High School and Continental Hair Styling School in Topeka.
Rita owned and operated Hair Unique Beauty Salon in Topeka.
Rita married Harold Williams in Topeka. He preceded her in death in 1997. Survivors include seven siblings, Angie (Larry) Luttjohann, Mary (Glen) Gilbert, Beatrice (Bob) Mikell, Larry (Debi) Blanco, Anna (Larry) Zeller, Caroline Blanco, all of Topeka and Cynthia (David) Ogan, St. Louis, MO; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Loretta Neiderhauser and Kathryn Howell.
Rita enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews, crafts, hair styling, gardening and cooking.
Cremation is planned. An inurnment service will be held at a later date. Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, Topeka is assisting the family. Please check back later for more information.
