OBITUARY: Ricky Lloyd Howland
Ricky Lloyd Howland, 55, Topeka, died Thurs., March 3, 2011, at Midland Hospice Care. He was born July 16, 1955, in Topeka, the son of Wanda L. (Baldwin) and Henry "Red" Howland, Jr. He graduated from Seaman High School and Kaw Valley Vo-Tech. Ricky was an Electric Technician for Ken Tron and King Radio. Surviving are 2 sisters: Tamara L. (Brian) Russell of Topeka and Marcia L. (Jim) Sharry of Moore, OK; 3 nephews: Robert Sharry of Moore, OK, Michael Sharry of Moore, OK, and Lukas Russell of Topeka; 2 great-nieces: Kyla and Lauren Sharry of Moore, OK; and the girl: Deanna Steinert of Topeka. Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm, Mon., March 7, 2011, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave. Interment in Prairie Home Cemetery. Ricky will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Sun., at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606-2800 or St. Francis Cancer Center, 1700 SW 7th, Topeka, KS 66606.
