OBITUARY: Richard Lee Kinnett
Richard Lee Kinnett, 76, of Perry died Friday, April 8, 2005 at his home. He was born May 21, 1928 at Carbondale the son of Perry F. and Louise (Job) Kinnett.
Richard served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a farmer and had worked at the Pauline Supply Depot and was a fireman at the Santa Fe Hospital.
Surviving are a brother: Virgil E. Kinnett of Scranton and a sister: Arline Holden of Topeka. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Kinnett.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Fri., April 15, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence. A Fort Riley U.S. Army Detail will conduct military honors at Prairie Home Cemetery. Richard will lie in state after 3:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday. The casket will remain closed.
