Richard H. Brooks

Richard H. Brooks, age 70, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Midland Hospice Care in Topeka. Richard was born February 21, 1948 in Topeka the son of Howard and Mary Robison Brooks. Richard married Mary Oxley June 16, 1964 in Meriden. Richard worked as a heavy Equipment Operator and was a member of the Operating Engineers Local #101 for over 48 years. Richard is survived by his wife, Mary of over 54 years; three sons, Richard (Gena) Brooks, David (Tonya) Brooks of Topeka and Bobby Brooks, of Grantville; a sister, Linda (Emmett) Copeland of Perry; two brothers, Howard (companion Judy) Brooks of Topeka and Raymond (Sheri) Brooks of Perry; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Grantville United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home. davidsonfuneral.com
