Richard L. "Olman" Bradley, 77, of Meriden, passed away on October 9, 2022 at Midland Care.
Olman was born on March 8, 1945 to Merl and Helen (Lewis) Bradley in Topeka, Kansas.
He graduated from Jefferson West High School in 1963. After graduation he join the National Guard. After being honorably discharged, he worked in the concrete industry for many years. Olman worked for Ernest Spencer for 40 years in metal fabrication.
"Yeah Mama!", he was the life of the party. Olman was known for his ornery attitude. He loved to frequent Las Vegas and enjoyed gambling with his family. Olman was known for his large Fourth of July parties and his massive bonfires. He enjoyed taking the Polaris on the backroads to see his sons. Olman was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed mowing. His grandchildren learned from their Olman and the ways of his world.
Olman is survived by his children, Lance (Krystal) Bradley and Layne (Casey) Bradley; sister, Joyce Rodgers; grandchildren, Shelby Bradley, Levi Bradley, Hunter (Bre) Bradley, Kenasen Bradley, Courtney Bradley, Milen Bradley; and great grandchildren, LouLee and Hadlee.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents and his sister, Beverly Neiberger.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 13, 2022, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Parker Price Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be on Friday, October 14, 2022, at 10:00 am at Parker Price Funeral Home.
Graveside Service will be at 1:45 pm in the Meriden Cemetery to follow.
