OBITUARY: Rhonda Kay (Schwalie) Shaw
Rhonda Kay (Schwalie) Shaw, 49, Topeka, died Sat., Jan. 17, 2009. She was born May 6, 1959, in Topeka, the daughter of Raymond G. and Geraldine (Vale) Schwalie. She attended Topeka Schools. She was married to Billy Casey, they were divorced. She was married to Norman Shaw, they were divorced. Surviving are her mother: Geri Schwalie; a brother: Gregg Schwalie; and a sister: Teresa Schwalie; and 3 nieces: Samantha, Mandy, and Lakisha, all of Topeka. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Tues., Jan. 27, 2009, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence. Interment in Mount Hope Cemetery. Rhonda will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Mon., at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rhonda Kay (Schwalie) Shaw Memorial Fund c/o Bank of America, 4001 SW Huntoon, Topeka, KS 66604.
