Rexford Gale Reilly, 91, of New Hope, MN, formerly of Topeka, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013.

He was born November 12, 1922 in Lenora, Kansas, the son of Rexford Harley and Susan Rufina (Paddook) Reilly. He was a graduate of Norton Community High School and attended Fort Hays State College. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II.

Mr. Reilly was employed by the Kansas Department of Transportation for 41 years, retiring in 1987.

He was a member of the Western Star Lodge No 174 in Smith Center, KS and Northland Christian Church, and Kansas State Retirees, both in Topeka.

Rexford married Roma Nadine Delmont on January 15, 1944 in Woodruff, Kansas. She preceded him in death on March 4, 2012. Survivors include his daughter, Janice Goodman, Plymouth, MN; three sons, David Reilly, Portland, OR, Alan Reilly, Victoria, TX and Mark Reilly, Parker, CO; ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka. Interment will follow at the Rochester Cemetery, Topeka.
