Rebekka E. Schwartz passed away December 22, 2022
Bekka believed that under the greatest adversity there existed the greatest potential for doing good, both for oneself and others.
There is not one way to describe Bekka. She carried overwhelming joy in her heart, often breaking out in dance whenever the moment hit her. She was an above and beyond educator for her students and an activist for the disadvantaged. A Mother, a poet, a reader, a writer, an attune listener whose friendship was an invaluable.
Her family and friends will miss her laughter, insight and presence.
Daughter of Karla Schwarz and Walter Mickler (Pat). Sister Mira, Children Kyle and Kieva (Scott), grandchildren Aiden and Ben, nephew, Dylan (Mandy) and life partner John.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Crohn's Disease Foundation in her name.
Celebration of life will be on January 15th from 12:00 p.m. to 3 pm at the Holiday Inn in Salina, Kansas.
