Rebecca S. Davis

Rebecca S. Davis, 66, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018.   She was born October 16, 1951 in Topeka, the daughter of Donald D. and Margorie (Viles) Diehl.   She had been a school bus driver for Topeka Lutheran School.   Rebecca volunteered her time at Quinton Heights Grade School.  At one time, Rebecca attended Central Park Christian Church.

Survivors include her  mother, Margery Reed of Topeka; daughter, Pam Shotts and John of Ogden, Kansas; three sisters, Catherine Crow and Tom in South Carolina, Matie Grubham and Bill of Lecompton, Donna Fisher and Ace of Topeka, Kansas; grandchildren, Tiernan McGlumphry, Dakota McGlumphry, Noah Shotts, Donald Bartlett and Robert Bartlett all of Topeka; and her nieces and nephews.

Becky was preceded in death by her father, Donald Diehl 2007;  and her companion, Phillip “Terry” Melton in 2012. her son, Donnie Davis in 2006;

Rebecca was cremated, and inurnment will take place at Dover Cemetery at 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 18, 2018.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Rossville Rehabilitation Center for all their love, compassion, friendship and special care provided to Becky.
