Raymond Earl Riis

Raymond E. Riis, age 72, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020. Ray was born December 22, 1947 in Des Moines, Iowa the son of Harrison and Frances (Wilkens) Riis. He graduated from Highland Park High School. He enlisted and served in the U.S. Marine Corps and served in Vietnam. Ray worked at Kansas Automotive. He is survived by a son, Raymond (Adina) Riis of Topeka; a daughter, Wendy (Mark) Slawson of Topeka; a brother, Johnny Riis of Iowa; two sisters, Kathy Benson of Burlingame, KS and Debra Vincent of Iowa; and two grandchildren. Raymond was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Riis.
