Raymond Lawrence Pederzani
Raymond Lawrence Pederzani, 64, Topeka, died surrounded by family on Thursday, March 17, 2016, at Stormont-Vail Hospital, Topeka. He was born July 25, 1951, in Queens Boroughs, New York City, New York, the son of Lawrence Joseph and Rose Mary (Parcello) Pederzani.
Ray moved to Houston, Texas, at an early age and attended public schools and ITT in Houston. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Sampson. Ray moved to Topeka in 1987, and has been employed at the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Plant since 1993. He was a member of the Steel and Rubber Workers Union.
He was married to Gayle Susan "Sue" Roberts on September 4, 1987, in Houston, Texas.
Surviving are his wife, Sue Pederzani, of the home; three sons: Jonathan Roberts Pederzani (Laura Wywadis), Dustin Raymond Pederzani, and Jeremy Gilbert Pederzani, all of Topeka; and a daughter, Kaci Lynn Pederzani, of Houston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Robert; and a sister, Joanne.
A memorial service will be at 7:00 PM, Monday, March 21, 2016, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Avenue, Topeka.
