OBITUARY: Raymond Earl Hickey
Raymond Earl Hickey, 88, Topeka died Fri., Jan. 6, 2006, at Colmery-O'Neil V.A.M.C. He was born March 19, 1917, at Topeka the son of John Thomas and Daisy Belle Rowden Hickey.
He was preceded in death by 2 sons, Robert and Steve.
Surviving are his wife: Geraldine Hickey of the home; a daughter: Connie Cobler and her husband, Larry, of Topeka; a brother: Don Hickey and wife, Frances, of Lady Lake, FL; 2 sisters: Mildred Bradshaw of Topeka, and Mary Belle Wilson and husband, George, of Hot Springs, AR.; a sister-in-law: Ruth Hickey of Osage City; 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tues., Jan. 10, 2006 at Penwell-Gabel's Memorial Park Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by a Fort Riley U.S. Army Detail.
Mr. Hickey will lie in state from 3:00 p.m. Monday to 12:00 noon Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 N.W. Independence.
