Randell Lee Stasser
Randell Lee Stasser, 44, Topeka, went to meet his Lord on Sunday, September 8, 2013, at Midland Hospice House, Topeka. He was born October 11, 1968, in St. Francis, the son of Leonard "Leon" and Sharon Kay (Beeton) Stasser.
Randell graduated from Sherman County High School and Northwest Regional Vocational Technical School. His church family was First Southern Baptist Church of Topeka. He was a foster parent and a member of Local # 307. Randell worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company; had been in the farming industry; and was an over-the-road-truck-driver for over twenty years.
Surviving are his companion and soul-mate: Debbie Ratner of the home; children: Blake, Tristan, and Clayton Stasser all of Denver, CO, Cheyenne and Shelby Ratner of the home, and Jordan Garza of Goodland; his mother and step-father: Sharon and Ron DeMers of Garden City; his father and step-mother: Leon and Connie Stasser of Mesa, AZ; and siblings: Lyn Stasser of Gilbert, AZ and Serena Simmons (Chris) of Cimmeron; and six nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, September 11, 2013, at First Southern Baptist Church, 1912 SW Gage, Topeka. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 17, 2013, at Knodel Funeral Home, St. Francis, Kansas, followed by interment in St. Francis Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 PM, Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Avenue, Topeka.
