OBITUARY: Randall F. Reser
Randall F. Reser, 83, Topeka, passed away, Mon., Dec. 31, 2007, at Stormont-Vail Hospital. He was born April 30, 1924, at Rossville, the son of William L. and Pearl (Wood) Reser.
Randall was a U.S. Army Veteran. He moved to Topeka in 1946. For over 50 years he was a carpenter and member of Kansas Construction Trade Union # 1445. He loved camping, fishing, hunting, woodworking and telling jokes.
Randall was married to Almena May Paige on March 18, 1950, at Topeka. She preceded him in death on Jan. 22, 2006. He was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Lorie.
Surviving are 2 sons: Larry Mumert of Mayetta and Randy Reser of Holton; a daughter: Ruth Puff of Topeka; a brother: Robert Reser of Tecumseh; a sister: Nadine; 5 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Memorial graveside services will be at 10:30 AM, Fri., Jan. 4, 2008, at Rossville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 PM, Thurs., at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel 245 NW Independence, Topeka. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
