Ramona Lea Foust, 87, of Topeka, passed away Friday, July 17, 2015.
She was born May 14, 1928 in Topeka, the daughter of John Spencer and Ina B. (Cutright) Horton. She was a graduate of Seaman High School.
Ramona married George William Foust on February 22, 1947 in Bucklin, KS. He preceded her in death on December 9, 2011. Survivors include her daughter, Linda (Stutz) Plaisted, Georgetown, Mass; her son, David (Lynelle) Foust, Topeka; two grandchildren, Stutz (Suzanna) Plaisted II and John (Stephanie) Plaisted; 4 great-grandchildren, Brett and Bryan Plaisted and Sara and Kate Plaisted; her sister, Kay Conn, Topeka; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Dale Horton, Neil Horton and Merrill Horton.
Ramona enjoyed gardening, flowers, crocheting afghans and spending time with family and friends.
A funeral ceremony will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka. Interment will follow at the Rochester Cemetery, Topeka. Ramona will lie in state after 3 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m.
