Ralph Barnard

Ralph E. Barnard, age 67, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka.  Ralph was born November 24, 1952 in Topeka the son of Cecil and Dorothy (Hastings) Barnard.  He graduated from Highland Park High School.  He married Cheryl Hupp, they later divorced.  Ralph worked as  a clerk at various service stations and more recently was a caregiver at care homes.  Ralph loved all aspects of auto racing.  He also enjoyed and spent time with his C.B. radio.  Ralph and Barbara enjoyed spending time at The Den in Topeka. Ralphs greatest love was spending time with his family.  Ralph is survived by his companion, Barbara Marvin; three sons, Mark (Pam) Hupp of Wichita, Bradley Barnard of Topeka and Shawn Barnard of Salina; two daughters, Debbie Barnard of Topeka and Lori (Kevin) Fisher of Mission, Kansas; three step daughters, Barbara Jean (Derek Mellott) Hinklin of Topeka, Victoria Hinklin of Kansas City, MO and Phyllis Rayton of Virginia, Minnesota; a brother, Steve Barnard of Centerville, Virginia and numerous grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Friday, November 6, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Overbrook Cemetery.  davidsonfuneral.com.
