Rachel Harris

Rachel Harris, 44, of Topeka passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019. Rachel was born March 25, 1974 in San Francisco, California.   She was adopted as a young child and raised by her parents, Ralph and Elizabeth Rose.   She grew up in California.   She was married and moved to Oklahoma and Texas before moving to Topeka four years ago.   Rachel was a nanny, taking care of children including her nieces and nephews. She volunteered her time helping special needs children and adults.   Rachel loved Harley-Davidson Motorcycles. She will be remembered for her fun-loving personality and her generous heart.

She is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Rose of Napa, California. Rachel is survived by her siblings, Lauren Wise, Beth Rose, Amy Dalton, Meg Losey, Barbara Rose, John Rose, Steve Rose, Aviva Rose-Dwyer, Aaron Rose, Priscilla Rose, Rebecca Rose, Abigail Webber; her children, Nellie, Maribelle, Jolee and Destiny also survive.

Preceding her in death are her father, Ralph Rose in 2014 and her son, Michael

Cremation is planned. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
