OBITUARY: Polly Jo Nolin
Polly Jo Nolin, 80, Topeka, died Wed., Nov. 14, 2012, at her home, Aldersgate Village, Topeka. She was born Sept. 12, 1932, at Holton, the daughter of Margaret F. (Tucker) and Henry J. Bergen, Jr.
Polly graduated from Highland Park High School in 1950 and attended Washburn University. She was a secretary and paraprofessional for U.S.D. 501. Polly was a member of Crestview United Methodist Church.
She was married to Rev. Floyd M. Nolin, Jr. on Sept. 16, 1965, in Topeka.
Surviving are her husband: Floyd of Aldersgate Village, Topeka; children: Rafalla J. Respress of Seymour, MO Michael L. Green (Juna) of Topeka, Jane L. Mawdsley (Bill) of Topeka, and Floyd M. "Mart" Nolin III of Granbury, TX; a brother: Henry J. Bergen III (Donna) of Springfield, MO; 9 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Mon., Nov. 19, 2012, at Crestview United Methodist Church. Interment in Mount Hope Cemetery, 4700 SW 17th St., Topeka.
Polly will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Sun., at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave., Topeka, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Crestview United Methodist Chuch,2245 SW Eveningside Drive, Topeka, KS 66614.
