Pauline R. Day, 84, of Topeka, passed away Monday, April 14, 2014.
She was born February 1, 1930 in St. Mary's, Kansas, the daughter of William Samuel and Mary Adaline (Beseau) Bowers.
Pauline married Merrill D. "Bud" Day on February 12, 1949. He preceded her in death on August 13, 2013. Survivors include two daughters, Susan Metzger, Debra (Tony) Webster and a son, Gary (D.J.) Day, all of Topeka; 8 grandchildren, Chris (Jamie) Stuke, Misty (Shane) Adamson, Matt Stuke, David (Meredith) Holland, Regina (Matt) Hollar, Danielle (Tanner) Shaw, Kari (Donnell) Smith and Tosha (Adam) Webster-Ross; 15 great-grandchildren; a brother, Bernie (Dorothy) Bowers, Topeka; a sister, Janet (Robert) Reser, Tecumseh, KS; and lots of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and six siblings.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the Prairie Home Cemetery, NW 35th and Menoken Rd, Topeka.
