Pauline Large

Pauline Frances Cooper Large, 84, Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at a local hospital.

Pauline was born September 11, 1921, in Topeka, the daughter of Joseph and Merle Cunningham Cooper, Sr. She was a lifelong resident of the Oakland community.

She married Roy C. Large on June 29, 1938 in Lyndon. He preceded her in death on August 9, 1997. Survivors include sons: Larry Large and wife, LaLonnie; and Kenneth Large: daughters: Connie Jimenez and husband, Tom and Brenda Thornton and husband Bill, all of Topeka; 11 Grandchildren, 17 Great grandchildren and 1 Great great grandchild. Pauline was preceded in death by sisters, Madeline Thurston and Josephine Phillips and a brother Joe Cooper Jr.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, October 14, 2005 at Topeka Cemetery. Mrs. Large will lie in state at Penwell-Gabel Parker Price Chapel in North Topeka after 2:00 P.M. on Thursday and family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M.
