OBITUARY: Paul Edward Keating
Paul Edward Keating, 71, Topeka, passed away Tues., Dec. 6, 2011, at his home. He was born July 31, 1940, in Corning, the son of John Thomas and Genevieve "Gebe" Culhan Keating. He married Nancy Loch of Marysville, on April 16, 1966. She survives. Other survivors include his children: Maria (Mark) Carr and Eric (Jennifer) Keating; 7 grandchildren: Fischer, Culhan, and Monica Carr and Cameron, Brandon, Blake, and Cailey Keating; a brother: Maurice (Ada) Keating. Paul worked at Goodyear for 15 years. He owned and operated Keating Mud Jacking for the past 36 years. Paul was a founding member of Mother Teresa Catholic Church and was a Fourth Degree KofC; and was also a member of Sunrise Optimist Club. He enjoyed working, his grandkids, pond, and family farm. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM, Sat., Dec. 10, 2011, at Mother Teresa Catholic Church, 2014 NW 46th Street, Topeka, KS 66618. Interment in Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Topeka. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM, Fri., Dec. 9, 2011 at the church with a Rosary to follow at 7 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Mother Teresa Building Fund, Boy Scout Fire Pit at MTCC, or Midland Hospice, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606-2800.
