Patty Ruth Massey, 83, Topeka, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2020.
She was born March 17, 1936, in Onaga, Kansas, the daughter of Louis Agranbright and Eunice (Meade) Simmons.
Patty was film processor in Lawrence for 12 years.
She was a member of the Kansas Avenue United Methodist Church and the Gem and Mineral Club. Patty and Robert, Sr. enjoyed square dancing with Strato Jets. She also enjoyed spending time with her horses and crafting.
Patty married Robert W. Massey, Sr. on August 19, 1953 in Topeka. He preceded her in death on June 17, 2014. She was also preceded in death by a sister Betty Brandenburgh, two brothers Donald Arganbright and Bobby Arganbright and daughter-in-law, Loretta Massey.
Survivors include her children, Robert W. Massey, Jr., Topeka and Pandra (Jay) Wellman, Meriden, KS; brother, Bill Agranbright, Surprise, AZ; six grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Parker-Price Funeral Home, 245 NW Independence Avenue, Topeka. Interment will follow at Rochester Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at the funeral home.
